Building the Garden

April Building day Panorama

Our first building day, April 14th, was a big success – ground cleared, new beds built, and woodchips added to the paths.

Our next workday will be April 21st and we’ll be adding more woodchips and filling in soil along with other work projects.

We’d love to have you join us at 9:30 out at the garden. We’re looking forward to more homemade treats and a good time working together!

  1. I am a bee keeper looking for a community garden to keep my hive this summer. I came across the garden and thought it might be a good fit. Please email me if you are interested! There would be many benefits to the other gardeners (increased pollination) and I would, or course, take full care of the hive but would be willing to really become part of the community garden and involve others/ answer questions etc.

Please let me know if this is of interest to you,

    • I’m sorry Andrea, but I don’t think our community garden would be a good fit – for the sake of your bees, actually! We have a lot of kids that love to run around investigating everything and we’re afraid the two would not fit together well. If you’re ever looking for a place to sell your honey, though, we’d love to include you in our bake sales and other fundraisers.
